About Amadi and Belden Consulting

Chidama Amadi Ed.S, Ph.D Candidate

Hello! I'm Chidinma Amadi, an educational professional, Ed.S. holder, and Ph.D. candidate dedicated to supporting Multilingual Learners (MLs) and advancing inclusive education. With [20] years of experience, I am committed to unlocking the potential of every learner by integrating linguistic and cultural diversity into the classroom. I hold a Specialist in Education (Ed.S.) in Special Education. I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Educating students with exceptionalities, where my research focuses on teachers' perceptions of home language maintenance for Deaf Multilingual Learners (DMLs). 

My work explores how incorporating students' native languages in the classroom impacts language acquisition, academic achievement, and cultural identity affirmation. I have served as a teacher, mentor, and program manager throughout my career, working closely with Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students, multilingual learners, and educators. My teaching approach emphasizes multilingualism, culturally responsive pedagogy, and evidence-based instructional strategies that empower diverse learners. My research focuses on survey design, data collection, and literature analysis, ensuring that my findings contribute to educational policies and classroom practices that support linguistic and cultural diversity for growth.

Jocelyn Belden Ed.S, Ph.D Candidate

Hello! I am Jocelyn Belden, an educator, and Ph.D. candidate dedicated to supporting multilingual learners and students with exceptionalities.

My research focuses on survey design, data collection, and literature analysis to inform evidence-based strategies for multilingual learners, students with exceptionalities, and teacher self-efficacy. I specialize in the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework, using data-driven insights to develop targeted interventions that promote academic success for diverse learners. 

My work emphasizes the importance of personalized, research-based approaches to create equitable learning environments.

As a teacher, academic success coach, school director, and operations director, I have strongly advocated for inclusive education and MTSS implementation. I am passionate about equipping educators with the tools and insights to support linguistic and cultural diversity while improving student outcomes.

I look forward to collaborating with fellow educators and leaders who are passionate about inclusivity, MTSS, and educational equity. Together, we can ensure that every learner, regardless of background, has the opportunity to thrive.
